Senior Management

Senior management is the executive body of the Bank and reports to the Board of Directors.The senior management is composed of the President, Executive Vice Presidents, Chief Finance Officer, and Company Secretary etc. The Bank implements a President Responsibility System under the leadership of the Board of Directors, under which the President reports to the Board of Directors while all functional departments, branches and other senior executives report to the President.

Peng Chun   Vice Chairman, Executive Director, President

Mr. Peng Chun, born in January 1962, joined the Bank in January 1994 and is the Vice Chairman, Executive Director and President of the Bank. Mr. Peng has served as President of the Bank since October 2013. From April 2010 to August 2013, Mr. Peng served as the Deputy General Manager of China Investment Corporation and the Executive Director and General Manager of Central Huijin Investment Ltd.. Mr. Peng successively served as Executive Vice President and an executive director of the Bank from August 2005 to April 2010; Executive Vice President of the Bank from September 2004 to August 2005; Assistant President and a director of the Bank from June 2004 to September 2004; and Assistant President of the Bank from September 2001 to June 2004. Mr. Peng served as Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Urumqi Branch, General Manager of Nanning Branch and General Manager of Guangzhou Branch of the Bank from 1994 to 2001. Mr. Peng received a masters degree in economics in Graduate School of PBOC in 1986. Mr. Peng has been the Vice Chairman, Executive Director of the Bank since November 2013.

Yu Yali    Executive Director, EVP

Ms. Yu Yali, born in February 1958, joined the Bank in February 1993 and is an Executive Director, Executive Vice President. Ms. Yu has served as Chief Financial Officer of the Bank since August 2004 and was General Manager of the Finance and Accounting Department and Financial Budget Department of the Bank from December 1999 to August 2004. Ms. Yu has previously served in numerous positions, including Head of Finance and Accounting Division and Deputy General Manager of the Banks Zhengzhou Branch and Deputy General Manager of Finance and Accounting Department of the Head Office from February 1993 to December 1999. Ms. Yu obtained her MBA degree from Fudan University in 2006. Ms. Yu has been as Executive Director of the Bank since August 2012.

Shou Meisheng    Secretary of Discipline Committee

Mr. Shou Meisheng, born in December 1956, joined the Bank in January 1992 and is the Commissioner of Discipline Inspection. Mr. Shou was the EVP and the Commissioner of Discipline Inspection from September 2012 to July 2016, General Manager of Human Resources Department of the Bank from May 2005 to December 2007, General Manager of International Banking Department of the Bank from June 1998 to May 2005 and General Manager of Dalian Branch of the Bank from January 2002 to March 2004. Mr. Shou obtained his Doctoral degree in Economics from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in 2006.

Hou Weidong   Executive Director, EVP

Mr. Hou Weidong, born in January 1960, joined the Bank in April 2002, and is the Executive Director, Executive Vice President of the Bank. Mr. Hou has been the Chief Information Officer from August 2004 to December 2010 and was the General Manager of the Information Technology Department of the Bank from November 2002 to August 2004 and the Deputy General Manager of Computer Department of the Bank from April 2002 to November 2002. Before joining the Bank, he served as Deputy General Manager of Technology Security Department and General Manager of Data Centre in ICBC from November 1998 to April 2002. Mr. Hou obtained his Doctoral degree in Economics from Peking University in 2003.

Shen Rujun     EVP

Mr. Shen Rujun, born in February 1964, Executive Vice President. Mr. Shen was general manager of Shandong Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China from November 2013 to March 2015. From January 1985 to November 2013, he served in Industrial and Commercial Bank of China as deputy section chief, section chief and deputy head of Accounting Division, deputy head (acting as head) and head of Planning Division in Jiangsu Branch; deputy general manager of Beijing Branch; and general manager of Finance and Accounting Department. Mr. Shen obtained a doctorate degree from the Technical and Economic School of Hohai University in 2001.

Wu Wei     EVP, CFO

Mr. Wu Wei, born in August 1969, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Mr Wu serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since September 2017. July 2013 to April 2015, Mr. Wu served in the Bank as the Chief Financial Officer; General Manager of Investment Banking Department and President of the Investment Banking Business Centre (concurrently as General Manager of Asset and Liability Management Department from December 2014 to August 2017). From July 1998 to July 2013, he served in the Bank as chief, deputy head and deputy general manager of Financial Division of Finance and Accounting Department; deputy general manager and general manager of Financial Budget Department; and general manager of Liaoning Branch. From July 1994 to October 1995, he served in Audit Division of Wuhan Branch of the People's Bank of China. Mr. Wu obtained a doctorate degree from the Postgraduate Department in the Research Institute for Fiscal Science of the Ministry of Finance in 1998.

Du Jianglong   Company Secretary

Mr. Du Jianglong, born in July 1970, joined the Bank in August 2009 and is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Bank. Mr. Du served as and Director of the Board Office concurrently from 2010 to July 2016, and Vice President of the Bank's Shanghai Branch concurrently from August 2015 to March 2016. Mr. Du worked in the Department of Trade Finance, Department of National Debt Financing and Department of Finance of the Ministry of Finance from July 1997 to July 2009. While working in these departments, he held various positions of Deputy Head of Division I in the Department of Finance, Secretary of the Department of Finance (Division Chief Level), Head of Division I in the Department of Finance and DeputyDirector-General of the Department of Finance. During the period, he also took the positions of Supervisor of The Export-Import Bank of China and Agricultural Development Bank of China. Mr. Du obtained his Masters degree in Economics from the Research Institute for Fiscal Science of Ministry of Finance in 1997 and his Masters degree in Economics from University of Manchester in 2003.

Guo Mang    Director of Corporate Banking

Mr. Guo Mang, born in October 1962, Director of Corporate Banking. Mr. Guo is Director of Corporate Banking of the Bank since February 2017, and served as President of the Banks Beijing Branch and President of Beijing Administrative Department (Group Customer Department) (the application for appointment formalities was still in progress) since December 2016. He was President of Shenzhen Branch from January 2010 to December 2016, President of Chongqing Branch from January 2009 to January 2010, Vice President and President of Chongqing Branch from September 2004 to January 2009. Moreover, he served as credit clerk in the Credit and Investment Department and Deputy Section Chief of Shenzhen Branch, Head of Shatoujiao Office, Vice President of Shatoujiao Subbranch, President and Vice President of Hongli Subbranch, General Manager of the Marketing Department and Vice President of Shenzhen Branch from May 1991 to September 2004. Mr. Guo also worked as Section Member of PBOC Savings Interest Rate Department from June 1989 to May 1991, worked in PBOC Baoan Sub-branch, PBOC Shenzhen Branch and Shenzhen Subbureau of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange from April 1988 to June 1989, and as Section Member of the System Reform Office of PBOC Comprehensive Planning Department from July 1987 to April 1988. Mr. Guo obtained his Bachelors degree in Economics from Fudan University in 1987.

Mr. Ng Siu On, born in September 1953, joined the Bank in March 2013 and is the Bocom-HSBC Strategic Cooperation Advisor of the Bank. Mr. Ng joined HSBC since 1978 and served in several positions within HSBC from June 1989 to March 2013, including Head of Corporate Business, Senior Executive&Head of Medium-sized Enterprises Business, Senior Manager of Corporate business, District Manager of New Territories HK, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Ontario Branch Network of HSBC Bank Canada, Manager Business Development of Area Office China, Head of Branches of Area Office China. Mr. Ng currently also serves a variety of positions in other institutions,including the Executive Committee and volunteer Treasurer of The Boys & Girls Clubs Association of Hong Kong, the Professional Standards and Examination Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, the leader of the code about Corporate lending Corruption Prevention The Hong Kong Association of Banks. Mr. Ng obtained MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
